It's weird but I have to agree. It's great to compromise and go along with what a woman wants once in awhile but it has to be a two-way street in the long run. She has to bend to the man's will at times too.

This is too right. If you want to get used as an emotional tampon, used, abused, and basically completely TRASHED by a girl, feel free to go ahead and be a "yes man". Otherwise, don't even think about it, because its a first class one way ticket to HELL. Trust me, I've screwed up with a girl like that and whatever you do, make sure you put her in your place, and reinforce the fact that YOU come first in your life.

I just spent a whole freakin' weekend with my now ex-girlfriend at her granny's 80th birthday party....it was as bad as you might imagine. She spent the whole weekend giving me the cold shoulder and nothing else. I've done too many things for this bitch and her pushing me away even turned me into a bigger pussy. It all ended last night and I'm strangely relieved. This relationship took off like a shot and had us both believing we had found "the one". Unfortunately it came back down to Earth just as fast. It really sucks now but I'm sure I'm better off in the long run. Time to channel my inner "aloof prick" so it doesn't happen again.

Why man always think that we want them to put as on pedestal. We are alive creatures and want to be treated like humans not like statue.
In real life I think it's much more easier than some people think, even this site, as much as I appreciate it, is overdoing it. Yes, I am thankful to people who took time to give us an advise to show the right direction, but in reality I think they all deeply hurt, incomplete and misguided.
I can tell just a couple thoughts from my personal experience, if 2 people are genuinely interested in each other, if they both willingly not to complete each other, but let each other into their life, it will work. It would not always be thrills and thunderstorms, even at the beginning of the relationship their not too good, because it fades quickly and than reality kicks in. And reality my friend it is day to day life. I have heard so many compassionate words, read so many books, been involved in so many arguments, but only actions not words speak for a man, and a real man instead of all talk does not need to prove his manhood, does not need to wear his heart on the sleeve, because what he will do, what he will share with you, will tell a women about all she needs to know. Remember females intuition possesses greater accuracy, than man's confidence
And another quick thing you know what distinguish man from the animal is that we are free to choose: to be happy or unfortunate. The unfortunate person should know: it has chosen it, because it was easier. Choose to be happy and make someone else happy!
