This is very true. A couple of years ago I let me then-girlfriend start talking to her ex again (she said she missed him 'as a friend'). Next thing I knew she was telling me how sorry she was for falling for him again. Took her a while to tell me, too. Fucking bitch.
One of the best ways to become happy after being viciously screwed, is to focus all your hatred and anger and negative feelings on that bitch ex of yours, to the point where there's no more negativity left for anything else.
I find it's easier just to focus all that anger into your workout. One hell of a pump and you feel GREAT after you leave the gym.
As for the ex-bf red flag. I also am running into this ex-bf red flag. Started seeing a chick who recently started communicating with an ex of her's via Myspace. Just gotta figure out how to lay it down that chillin with an ex = goodbye b1tch. :roll:
