WTF Do you do about your mans ex???

So ive been with my man for over a year and his ex talks to me all of the time. He wont say a word to her and i Love him for that, so she IM'S me. I never IM her first. she was really nutty when we first started dating. they had been together for almost 8 years and she burnned him bad by sleeping with his, at the time best friend and her vp and basically fucking her way to the top. When she found out that we were dating she sent me an email threatening me and a bunch of other shit. She even took it to the point of coming to my work just to "size" me up. and shes 27 now!!! im 6 years younger than her and i have more common sence. so recently she has been saying how happy she is for us and stuff. I am a really nice person so its hard for me to be mean, but she made it seem like cheating on him was okay, i got so red in the face and basically let her know that se was acting like a highschool bitch and that if she wasnt such a fucking slut, then i wouldnt have the man of my dreams :) I guess you cant be nice to everyone forever. my guy is the first man i have ever been in love with and i wouldnt have it any other way. I wouldnt be suprised if he posted on her back in the day. I can say that he is in a loving relationship and with someone who appreciates him, and thats how is should be.
Has any of you girls had to deal with your mans ex? and how did you handle it?
