After all, there are lots of very good reasons to get married; the tax benefits, for one. Getting hitched is easier—and certainly faster—than getting a Green Card. Marriage also makes people think you're not gay. In addition, spouses can't be forced to testify against you. Best of all, it gives you someone to blame for your life going all wrong. Oddly, these are rarely the reasons most people give for wanting to get married. Which are, ironically, the exact same reasons people give for not wanting to get married. Weird, huh?
