New Bike
My BF is so desperate to let me down that he put aside my needs, and place the object of his desire on a pedestal. Instead of appreciating me, he worships it. We are only human, and pedestals are narrow, confining places to be -- not to mention the fact that we tend to fall off of them. His Crotch Rocket can burn for all I care!
There's a fine line between
There's a fine line between "caring" for someone, and trying to alter their behavior (which is what's happening here). A two and a half hour hike on the freeway is a walk in the park. If I can ride my bike to dear 'ole grandma and grandpa's house which is a state away, and they not say ANYTHING about it when I roll up, then you'll be just fine. Get off the guy's case.

I Agree to Disagree, Love is a funny thing, it's a 50/50 deal. And if you even think for a second that you are in a bad relationship......you are. Sounds to me, you need a time out for yourself. Find out within, what you really want and go for it (it might take years to find that one out!). Insecurities..........we all have them.........I would start there first.
