Are men too obsessed with sex? Or are women too frigid?

For centuries, women have been convinced that men could control our baser instincts, but were just stubbornly unwilling to. Is that the case? Or are women living in a dream world populated with neutered fairies and eunuch-corns (sound it out...)? Well, science has the answer!

Okay, NOW, do you believe us, ladies? Can we all finally put the myth that women want sex as much as men to bed now? Can you finally shut the fuck up about how you think you want “a lot of sex?”

It seems science has now discovered this little nugget of testosterone truth:

the biggest difference between the male and female brain is that men have a sexual pursuit area that is 2.5 times larger than the one in the female brain. Not only that, but beginning in their teens, they produce 20 to 25-fold more testosterone than they did during pre-adolescence.

Yeah, case closed. Court is adjourned. Let’s all shake hands and move on, okay? Let’s stop putting a negative value judgment on men for noticing hot women, bugging women for sex, or watching porn. Guys aren’t just being assholes when they’re trying to get sex, we’re just perpetually cranked up like a rabbit on Redbull. And there’s not a damn thing wrong with it morally, despite what pious bitches think.

The only comparable lust women have is, inexplicably, for food. But we don’t condemn you for liking food more than a mentally healthy person should, do we? No. We’re happy to let you fixate and fetishize food. To let you have wet dreams about baked goods and masturbate with chocolate (we’re guessing). We don’t call you “disgusting,” or “perverted” even though you are. You’re just as twisted about food as men are about sex—we’re just infinitely cooler about it than women.

As one of your own sex, Louann Brizendine, admits:

...there are some things that the male brain and female brain are not likely to change anytime soon. And it makes more sense to deal with these brain realities, than to argue with them or ignoring them....The best advice I have for women is make peace with the male brain. Let men be men.

And, I think I speak for all the marginalized and morally condemned men of the world when I say, I couldn’t agree more.
