Did the pill cause your breakup? (Well, it didn’t help.)

The birth control pill does a lot of good for both men and women: It prevents unwanted pregnancy, makes women more inclined to have sex, and even makes women’s tits larger. But there is a dark side for guys who fall in love easily.

Men who would otherwise be seen as unattractive look like a good candidate to women who are taking hormonal contraceptives.

So it’s likely that, if you score with a woman on the pill, she may dump you once she goes off it. FSU graduate student Michelle Russell thinks that when women stop taking the pill, they become more aware of your troll-like looks, notice that you’re fugly, and run for the hills screaming.

Recent research suggests that the contraceptive pill…could affect which types of men women desire. Going on or off the pill during a relationship, therefore, may tempt a woman away from her man.

So if you’re in a relationship with a woman who’s on the pill, never let her go off it unless you want to know what she really thinks about you.
