Thanks for letting me know asshole

I thought we were a pretty good thing. But then he dumped me. Only, you know, failed to let me know. Some details: we’re long distance, and were friends before we dated. So I had no idea what had happened and I ended up finding out via a facebook post when he changed his relationship status to say he was dating a mutual friend. And when confronted about it, it had apparently been a thing for a year. So. I had a bad few weeks after that, but decided I would at least try to stay friends because he’s been my friend longer than we dated and I valued that. I thought it had been going well, y’know? And then he left to go to England to visit her and didn’t let me know, which would have saved me some anxiety when he didn’t log on like usual. But whatever, it happens I guess. But then. Buuut then. I find out, again through facebook, that they’re engaged and nope not okay again. What a selfish prick.
