If You Had Controlling Parents: How to Make Peace with Your Past.

Even armed with all that quasi-information, you may still not be able to exactly identify women who are exactly right for you. But it should at least help you avoid dating girls who are exactly wrong. Now, we’re not saying you shouldn’t fall in love with a girl who’s incompatible with you “on paper,” just that you could probably do better. Toxic Parents: Overcoming Their Hurtful Legacy and Reclaiming Your Life.

Parental influence is one of the major Nurture variables that make a woman deviate from her other characteristics. It can really throw a monkey wrench into figuring out a girl’s true personality.

For example, a Capricorn whose parents are tight-assed and controlling might rebel against that lifestyle by becoming carefree, irresponsible and passionate (i.e. very un-Capricorn). Likewise, the sexually liberated parents of a Scorpio could embarrass her, and end up inhibiting her natural sexual appetites.

When it comes to personality, Nurture is a wildcard. That's why you can’t make accurate assumptions about how a girl will act in the future without actually getting to know her. At best, this kind of top-line knowledge can give you a vague clue about how she might act in the future.

It’s not as much help as we’d like, but then what else have you got to go on? Genetics?

Yeah, good luck trying to swab girls at a bar….
