Girl doubts America’s sexual depravity, loses BDSM bet.

The YouTubes are full of self-promoting, attention-whores constantly doing stupid stunts to get attention, but it’s rare when a seemingly intelligent girl does it. (And that novelty, evidently, made it worth over a million views.)

According to the video footage, Christy Carlson Romano recently underestimated the prurient interests of America by wagering with her husband that the box office numbers for “50 Shades Of Grey” would tank after the first weekend. Surely, she figured, something as sexist and “rape-y” as this BDSM-light story would never be able to sustain ticket sales beyond the initial run of perverts and curiosity-seekers.

Confident that America wouldn’t be so easily titillated, she bet her husband that if she was right, he had to stand on the NYC balcony of their apartment (in Winter, no less) in only his boxer shorts for 60 full seconds. If she was wrong, she’d do the same — only in lingerie.

Sadly for her (but great for voyeurs), she wildly underestimated this fucked up country’s repressed sexuality and desire for depravity. Check out her skimpy humiliation:

The BDSM movie you should be watching — on your knees!

The cinematic popularity of “50 Shades Of Grey” is now undeniable, but back in 2002 they made another movie — a much better, hotter movie — about BDSM that you ought to be masturbating to…er, renting tonight.

While we (and everyone else on the damn planet), are fixating on the subject of BDSM, let’s give mad props to first-time director, Steve Shainberg, who dominated the topic of domination and submission back in 2002 when he launched Maggie Gyllenhaal’s career with the indie movie, “Secretary.”

If you want to see a hot BDSM movie, you don’t have to wait in a long line with sexually repressed soccer-moms. No, you can rent/stream/torrent “Secretary” right now in the privacy of your own masturbartorium.

Secretary

Steven Shainberg’s film tells the tale of quiet girl who cuts herself. When she finally gets a job as the secretary for James Spader, she discovers that he’s super into spanking her over any typos. From there, it escalates into a full-time dom-sub relationship.

But unlike in 50 Shades, the BDSM relationship frees Maggie’s character. According to Production designer Amy Danger:

With this S&M material, we could go into a dark place… Steve [Shainberg, the director] and I wanted the total opposite: that the nature of this relationship freed [the characters] to be their natural selves.

Directed with a sense of humanity and humor, his movie is both very hot and really good fun. Check out the clip below:

FWIW, consider laughing at the 1980s take on BDSM by watching “9 1/2 weeks” starring Mickey Rourke and Kim Bassinger. (The book “9 1/2 weeks” is a lot hotter than the movie.)
